Provence - HERMES SCARF - 1958

❌ Trop tard, cette pépite a déjà été chinée.

VENDU

A collector's item dating from 1958! The silk of the 1950s is very fluid and soft. Hermès later reinvented this silk, calling it "vintage silk," for certain scarves. It's the opposite of the famous silk twill, which is thick and has a perfect drape. Hugo Grygkar, the "father" of Hermès scarves, pays homage here to the Provence region and its mosaics. It comes with its original 1950s box. The color palette is cream, yellow, and brown. A superb scarf for collectors. Very rare and highly sought after.
