Hermès "Steam Locomotives" scarf designed by Vladimir Rybaltchenko in 1978
Published in 1978, this superb scarf has never been reissued. The details are exceptional, the finesse of the design incomparable. Vladimir Rybaltchenko, who signs "Rybal," is the great-nephew of Philippe Ledoux, another great designer at Hermès, and the father of Dimitri Rybaltchenko. In very good condition. The rolled hem is nicely rounded and full. Very rare and sought after by collectors. A marvel.
